Andrew Susskind, LCSW, SEP, CGP

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Certified Group Psychotherapist, I bring a multi-faceted perspective to my clients. After completing a Master of Social Welfare degree from UCLA in 1991, I’ve maintained a general private practice in West Los Angeles with a specialty in addictions and trauma. Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to post-graduate level interns is also one of my greatest passions.
Speaking, writing, and training demonstrate my ongoing desire to learn and grow, and in 2014 I released a workbook entitled From Now On: Seven Keys to Purposeful Recovery. Through the years I’ve been invited to speak at numerous conferences, graduate schools and clinical training programs and taught for the UCLA School of Medicine Doctoring Program as well as the AGPA Principles of Group Psychotherapy course.
My training in Brainspotting and Somatic Experiencing sets the foundation for my clients to build somatic awareness, regulate their nervous system and release unprocessed issues from the past. As a result, they build more capacity to feel more like themselves more often.
